eyes, two of a kind,

orbs of sight,

big and bright,

chasing passion,

chasing power,

always darting,

always searching,

always fleeting,

always leaving,

always with a goal,

always bearing hidden meaning,

shouting,

taunting,

ruining,

eyes, incapable of the lies 

of a vicious mouth,

and of a hopeless soul.

eyes, two of a kind,

finding yearning,

finding truth,

finding love,

always weeping,

always aching,

always praying,

always looking through the walls,

always bearing honesty,

always unravelling that deadly secret,

and seeing what neither dare say,

whispering,

singing,

hoping,

eyes, seeing the truth

of a lost figure, 

and a regretful soul.
