New year is always great

so much to celebrate.

It is always so much fun

if you're lucky you might get some sun.

Some people shout "happy new year" at midnight

and some say it at morning's light.

You should set your goals for the year's end

and if you're lucky you might make a friend.

or make an excuse to have fun and play.
