Hi this is Samaara sharing my awesome weekend experience with you. It all started when my family was fed up of corona virus. But one fine day in the news, it was said that all the hotels and restaurants were open now. When my father heard this, he immediately started searching for pet friendly hotels because I have a dog. I have written a post about her but I think we are getting a little off topic here.
We selected a pet friendly resort called OUR NATIVE VILLAGE. We all agreed that it would be best to stay there. We were only staying for a night, so my mother said it would be fine to pack the same day we leave. In the morning while we were packing, my dog Yaara was confused because we had never gone on a trip with her before. Just before we were about to leave, Yaara started crying because she always knows when we are about to leave. After we reached the car Yaara panicked, not that she had never been in a car but do you know any dog that loves the car? Her head was out of the car window the whole time ( Fact : if your dog is stressed in car, its better if the dog keeps his/her head out of the window, it reduces stress).
Back to the story. Once we reached the resort, we immediately went to the place where they kept the animals. There were turkeys, ducks, hens, rabbits, cows and even dogs.
The animals weren’t in cages so it was like a small farm. The dogs names were Chintu, Mallika and Sheetal. These were Indian dogs. After we met the dogs we started roaming around the field. Over there, we saw a baby cow whose name was Mangalu. I petted him.
After that we headed to the restaurant, we were starving, even Yaara. We weren’t expecting the best of foods but when we tried it, it was like magic.
After that we headed to our room as my father wanted to nap. I and my mom were also pretty tired. My father and Yaara napped, I read from my kindle and my mother looked at her phone. After some time I got bored so I asked my mom if I could go outside with her and she said a bit later . I waited for 15 extra minutes then I asked her again and she said “But Yaara is sleeping.” Then I said I don’t mean with Yaara, I mean with you. She said OK .We played with slingshots (in the slingshots I only got 1 point and my mom got 9) ,bow and arrow and even darts. I also jumped in the trampoline. It was amazing.
Then we were headed back to the room but right outside the door were my dad and Yaara. We reminded them about a cow milking session at 5:30 PM. It was already 5:20 PM hence we rushed to the cow shed. I was the only one who wanted to milk the cow so I went in the shed. When the experienced person tried to teach me, I just couldn’t do it.
My mother saw how much I wanted to do it and asked if she could teach me, even though she had never done it before. And it worked! My mother taught me how to milk a cow!
We went to our room. Half an hour later Yaara started barking at the door . When we opened it , we saw a couple and a huge white dog named Bambam. Also, his parents were pregnant. Yaara and Bambam started playing together and wouldn’t stop. Even next morning they played together. After that we left the resort.
We had a great time. Can't wait to come back again!
